Backup Technology are attending the Business 2012 Conference (18th – 20th March) at the 02 arena in London and will be on stand D52.
Representatives from BTL will be on hand throughout the event in order to discuss the advantages of our award winning services with business ambassadors from all sectors.
In addition Rob Mackle, Senior Sales Manager and Ritchie Fiddes, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing will be holding seminars in order to address interested audiences, and take any questions.
Rob will take the first seminar today drawing upon his vast experience within the Cloud Backup space and will engage the audience to ensure they come away with a clear perception on what options lie in the market.
A key aim of the talk will be to stress the importance for all businesses of having a robust Backup and Recovery solution in place and how BTL tackle this issue.
‘Security in the Cloud’ will also be a major element and Rob will talk through FIPS 140 Certified encryption and various other factors which separate an enterprise Managed Service Provider from the rest.
A large focus will be placed on the difference between Public and Private Cloud backup solutions and the main factors which should influence which form of implementation business leaders choose.
Of great importance in Rob’s talks will also be the efficiency and cost savings which can be achieved through using a Cloud Solution and why BTL are at the forefront of the market in this respect.
Finally Rob will draw on examples from BTL’s impressive customer base and talk the audience through some intricate projects BTL have undertaken in the past.
During the second seminar tomorrow Ritchie will aim to give the audience a global overview of the industry and will pay particular focus to the exciting Virtual Cloud Recovery market.
The talk will begin with examples of when a Disaster Recovery plan would be invocated and the types of scenarios BTL encounter on a daily basis.
Throughout the seminar Ritchie will highlight the advantages and importance of having a Virtual Disaster Recovery plan in place and how regular testing procedures and proper documentation are essential.
Furthering this Ritchie will drill down on the advantages of outsourcing DR rather than keeping testing internal.
Both seminars are designed to compliment each other and business decision makers will certainly benefit from the experience shared in both.
