MySecureZone: Try and Crack our Email Encryption System

A new start up business, MySecureZone, has invited experts to try and crack its email encryption system which they claim to be off ‘military grade.’ As an incentive to get as many people involved, an unusual but potential profitable prize is on offer for the first person who cracks the encryption system. The owners of MySecureZone are so confident in their product that they are offering a 5% stake in their company for the first person to crack the encryption system.

The developers have spent the last 22 months developing a browser-based encryption system for email, instant messaging, VoIP and VPN traffic. The developers are so confident in their encryption system, that they are encouraging experts to come and find any loop holes and crack the encryption system.

The way that the email encryption system works is that an email is encrypted and then sent to one of the firm’s servers in Switzerland and Luxembourg. The recipient of the email can then pull the email down and read it by using a passphrase that was previously agreed with the sender.

Istvan Balazs who is the CTO of MySecureZone stated, “The goal of our company is to help people protect their online privacy and to bring the highest grade user-friendly IT security to the public. For ultimate security, our system rests on the strong foundations of open source.”

Balazs added, “We know that, on the Internet, the user login process is one of the most vulnerable areas of personal information protection. That’s why we have created a state-of-the-art, web-based, two-factor authentication solution that is unique and innovative. This will ensure that, even with a weak password, your private messages will be safe and secure.”

The competition started on Monday and those who want to get involved and stand the chance of winning a 5% stake of MySecureZone can apply for access to the encrypted emails.

The importance of keeping data secure is becoming more important each day as the value of data and importance continues to increase. If this encryption system that has been developed is as good as the company believe, then surely it will only help people to keep their data more secure. The importance of having a robust cloud backup solution in place remains vital for all businesses and home users to ensure that they can recover their data in the event of a disaster or user error.
